Tasting Note
Aromas of freshly cut honeydew melon. Palate is creamy with lots of flavours of summer fruit. Nice harmony on the palate and will continue to develop and blossom into something bigger and better as the months go by. Young and fresh and lively.

Cellaring Notes
Enjoy as a young wine over the next 2 to 3 years.

Vintage Characteristics
We have been particularly impressed with the quality of fruit from the Geographe Region, just an hour's drive from Fermoy. The fruit is sourced from three growers, Barrecas, Mandalay Road and Smallwaters Vineyard. I have always enjoyed the fruit from the area – it has lovely aromatics and is ideal for an unwooded style of chardonnay. The fruit ripened later than usual due to the cool dry summer. It arrived at the winery in pristine condition and the wine fermented very easily.

Vinification
This wine is an unwooded style bottled early after vintage to capture the fresh vinous flavours and aromas.
