Fermoy Estate
2004 Fermoy Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon [SOLD OUT]
Bright red with purple tinges, the wine exhibits intense aromas of mocha, briary and ripe plum. Palate initially shows juicy berry fruit flavours that finish with great length to more savoury earthy, cedar and mocha flavours. The wine offers great elegance and finesse with well integrated oak nuances and fine chalky tannins.

2005 Fermoy Estate Nebbiolo [SOLD OUT]
This is the premiere release of Nebbiolo under the Fermoy Estate label. A tiny crop of just over 3 tonnes from 1.2 hectares planted at Kelly’s Vineyard, harvested with ripe intense flavours and good colour development. Nebbiolo is referred to as the ‘pinot noir of Italy’, not a comparison of flavours but the fickle nature of the variety.

2005 Fermoy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Big ripe plummy fruit, with lashings of cedary oak. Palate again shows classic ripe cabernet with fine length of chalky tannins. Flavours of dark brooding fruit linger with a generosity that will see this wine develop beautifully over the next 10 years. Cellaring Notes: May be enjoyed in its youth or cellared with confidence over the coming decade.

2005 Fermoy Estate Merlot
Colour is vibrant ruby red with a purple hue. Lifted concentrated aromas of ripe plum and red berry, with more complex charry briary and mocha developing with time in the glass. Palate is well structured with complex leathery coffee and fruit cake flavours. The chalky fine tannins are well balanced with persistant flavours.

Palate is full, yet elegant with luscious berry, mocha and savoury cedar flavours. It is balanced with attractive coating tannins, finishing with persistent savoury cabernet fruit characters.

2006 Fermoy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Colour is bright magenta with aromas of cherry and smoky oak. Palate is tightly structured at this stage with good acid and a fineness that belies its Margaret River origins. Finish is taut yet finely balanced. This wine represents excellent current drinking but will also cellar well for 3 to 5 years.

2006 Fermoy Estate Shiraz
Brilliant ruby red in colour. Though light bodied, the wine is varietally aromatic, with lifted aromas of mocha and cherry. It displays flavours of black cherry and subtle charry oak. Tannins are soft and integrated. Enjoy now or cellar over the next five years.

2007 Fermoy Estate Merlot
Crimson in colour with a purple hue. Aromas of lifted plum with dried thyme and briary characters. A juicy palate entry of plum and raspberry developing into briary and bushy herbaceousness, finishing dry and long. The chalky tannins integrated with acidity draw the flavours through the palate.
