2009 Fermoy Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

At this stage of the wine’s development the passionfruit aromas of sauvignon blanc are most apparent. Beneath this lies the strong herbal/grassy tones of semillon. Palate has a wonderful textural feel with good acid balance and powerful citrus flavours lingering in the mouth. Fruit has some good tangy acid and the wine will continue to develop. A great vintage for semillon and sauvignon blanc which will allow the wine to develop in bottle over the coming years.

2007 Fermoy Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant in appearance with a mid straw colour and golden hue. The lifted aromas of rock melon rind, citrus, sweet charry oak and undertones of nutty cashew. The wine is generous and well structured, displaying citrus, stonefruit and oak flavours. Wine has considerable length with a tight acid finish.

2008 Fermoy Estate Semillon

Aromas of grass with a herbal undertone and hints of savoury oak. Palate has that lovely texture that is the hallmark of Fermoy semillon. It adds richness and depth which leaves a lasting impression of length and flavour. A wine that crosses boundaries, that can hold its own with any full flavoured dishes, or be enjoyed as an aperitife.
