2023 Fumé Blanc
Aroma: Intriguing aromas of tamarillo, mandarin, nashi pair and green olive, leading with passionfruit pulp and tangerine, leading into complexing notes of chamomile, fennel, vanilla, grilled nuts and olive brine.
Palate: Textured and complex, a full-bodied white wine with mouthfeel and intrigue. Skin contact during ferment heightens perfume whilst contributing phenolic crunch – peach kernel, fennel and green-olive pit, whilst new French oak adds woodsmoke, flint and exotic spice. Acid is soft yet textured, glossy, and rich – think preserved lemon, mandarin, and nectarine.
2023 Sauvignon Blanc
Aroma: Aromas of nashi pear, guava, lemon barely and jasmine combine with complexing savoury notes of nettle and cashew nut.
Palate: Textured and mouth-filling – fleshy fruits of pear, nectarine and guava fill the mid-palate before intertwining with hints of toasted nuts and herbs. A soft, talc-like mineral acid focuses the finish around notes of lemon leaf and passionfruit.
2023 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Aroma: Fresh & vibrant aromatics of lemon blossom, jasmine, guava, pear and white nectarine overlay subtle savoury notes of fresh heard and green olive.
Palate: A textured and balanced style showing perfumed lift of citrus blossom and zest, combined with body and mouthfeel garnered from partial barrel fermentation and maturation on lees. Savoury notes of coastal herbs and fresh rocket add complexity while a punchy, saline acid line ensures a crisp, dry and refreshing finish.
