Fermoy Estate is well known for its excellent, high quality award winning wines. Most famously the Fermoy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has a strong reputation for success.
Back in 1988 the Fermoy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon scooped a Gold Sheraton wine award within its first year of production. Many awards and accolades for all the wines started flowing shortly afterwards.
Fermoy’s wines developed such a reputation for its amazing quality that in 2004 Fermoy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was the only Western Australian wine served during the Official reception for the royal wedding of Crown Prince Fredrick of Denmark and Mary Donaldson.
Fermoy Estate currently has two Cabernet Sauvignons - the Estate (retailing at $35 a bottle) and the Reserve (retailing at $65 a bottle). Both the Estate and Reserve Cabernet Sauvignons have continuously been outstanding for every vintage and our current and new vintages are no exception.
James Halliday awarded our current vintage 95 points for the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, and this wine also won a Top 100 Blue Gold Award Winner at the 2014 Sydney International Wine Competition.
Jame Halliday awarded our current vintage 96 points for the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2011.
Our newest vintage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 (not yet released for sale) has just won Gold at the International Competition of Cabernets, in Paris. See http://www.concourscabernets.com/fiche-vin-469-fermoy-estate-reserve.html.
