Double Trophy Win at the Southern Forests and Valleys Wine Show

We are thrilled to announce that Fermoy's 2016 Sparkling has been awarded the two trophies at the Southern Forests and Valleys Wine Show, including 'Best Sparkling' and 'Best Wine of Show'.

The Southern Forests and Valleys Wine Show is a significant event in the industry's calendar, showcasing all the amazing wines from the Pemberton, Blackwood Valley, Frankland River and Manjimup Regions.

The 'Best Wine of Show' trophy is the highest accolade in the competition, judged to display the best and most distinctive characters from the region.

Fermoy Estate's 2016 Sparkling displays an array of flavours: citrus, red apples and lightly roasted nuts. The wine shows elegance and purity of fruit, with hints of complexity and texture – flint, nougat, curd – garnered from 30 months in bottle on lees. A crunchy acid line provides drive and length to the finish, while the ultra-fine bead ensures persistence and freshness.
