2015 Fermoy Estate Chardonnay Quarterly


Vintage:  2015

Varietals (%’S):  100% Chardonnay

Appearance:  Pale golden straw with green highlights.

Aroma:  Plentiful notes of grapefruit zest, yellow peach, fresh pineapple and toasted hazelnuts with hints of struck match complexity.

Palate:  Medium weighted, the palate shows rich fruit notes of preserved citrus and peach flesh with toasted nut and a subtle gun smoke sulphide adding complexity and depth.

Oak Detail:  100% barrel fermented and matured for 8 months in a combination of new and 1 and 2-year old French oak barriques.

Cellaring:  Ready for immediate drinking and will continue to drink well over the next 2-3 years.

Alcohol Volume:  13.0%
Acidity:  pH 3.3; TA 7.4g/L 

Residual Sugar:  2.0g/L
