2016 Fermoy Estate Chardonnay
Varietals (%’S): 100% Chardonnay
Appearance: Pale golden straw with bright green tints.
Aroma: Elegant notes of lemon blossom, white peach, crème brulee and toasted cashew with hints of seaspray and struck match complexity.
Palate: Medium weighted, the palate shows an elegance of perfumed citrus blossom and oyster shell minerality with lightly toasted cashew and a subtle gun smoke sulphide adding complexity and depth.
Oak Detail: 100% barrel fermented and matured for 9 months in a combination of new and 1 and 2-year old French oak barriques.
Cellaring: Ready for immediate drinking and will continue to drink well over the next 4-5 years.
Alcohol Volume: 13.0%
Acidity: pH 3.34; TA 7.0g/L
Residual Sugar: 1.0g/L
