“One must have confidence in their fruit to opt for barrel fermentation with this variety, or at least partial barrel work, as the case is here. Guava and tropical interjections are elided by redcurrant and herbal leanings, ricocheting along a barrel of passion fruit acidity. This has aspirations of seriousness and unmitigated joy, all at once. Works, though.” Ned Goodwin, 2019 Halliday Wine Companion
