2018 FE Rosé Quarterly
Varietals (%’S): 70% Shiraz; 20% Cabernet Sauvignon; 10% Chardonnay
Appearance: Bright and vibrant red
Aroma: Fresh and bright aromatics of Turkish delight, strawberry compote, redcurrant and watermelon.
Palate: The palate is bright and vibrant with a soft and delicate mouthfeel. Bright fruit notes of strawberry, blueberry and watermelon are balanced by a delicate grape sweetness and soft acid line.
Winemaking: A select parcel of aromatic Geographe Shiraz was picked early to retain natural acids and bright fruit aromatics. Pressed off skins after 6hrs, the resultant bright pink juice was fermented cool in stainless steel – with fermentation stopped slightly early to retain a hint of natural grape sugar.
Oak Detail: Nil. This wine was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to ensure maximum retention of aromatics and fruit flavour.
Cellaring: Designed for drinking now until 2021.Alcohol Volume: 13.0%
