2019 fe Rosé


Varietals (%’S):  75% Shiraz; 10% Cabernet Sauvignon; 10% Sauvignon Blanc; 5% Chardonnay      

Appearance:  Bright and vibrant red pink

Aroma:  Fresh and bright aromatics of red apple, strawberry compote, lemon blossom and blueberry.

Palate:  The palate is bright and vibrant with a soft and delicate mouthfeel.  Bright and fleshy red and blue fruit notes are balanced by a delicate grape sweetness and soft, lemon acid line.

Winemaking: A select parcel of Shiraz from our Osmington vineyard was picked early to retain natural acids and bright fruit aromatics.  Pressed off skins after 6hrs, the resultant bright pink juice was fermented cool in stainless steel – with fermentation stopped slightly early to retain a hint of natural grape sugar.  

Oak Detail:  Nil.  This wine was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to ensure maximum retention of aromatics and fruit flavour.

Cellaring:  Designed for drinking now until 2022.

Alcohol Volume:  13.0%

Acidity:  pH 3.23; TA 6.2g/L

Residual Sugar:  10.0g/L
