2021 Fe Classic White

Vintage:  2021 – a vintage with some challenges of rain and cooler temperatures. However, white varieties were typified by vibrant aromatics and natural acids.

Varietals (%’S):  41% Chardonnay; 36% Sauvignon Blanc; 23% Semillon.

Appearance:  Pale straw with green tints.

Aroma:  Bright, vibrant aromatics of white peach, kiwi, guava and lemon blossom.

Palate:  A blend of varieties creating a balanced whole. The flesh, texture and mouthfeel of Chardonnay balances the punch of Sauvignon Blanc and the drive of the Semillon. Stone-fruits, tropical fruits and citrus. A textural mid-palate leads into a mouth-watering finish.

Oak Detail:  A small portion of this wine was fermented in seasoned French oak to contribute some texture and mouthfeel. The majority of the blend however, was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to ensure maximum retention of aromatics and fruit flavour.

Cellaring:  Designed for drinking now until 2025.

Food Pairing: Seafood Cassoulet.

Alcohol Volume:  12.5%
Acidity:  pH 3.34; TA 6.93g/L
