Appearance: Rich ruby red.
Aroma: Aromas of Black Cherry and Blueberry fruits overlay a hint of white pepper spice and vanilla bean creaminess.
Palate: Redcurrant and black cherry fruits on the front palate precede a creamy vanilla mid-palate and subtle white pepper and aniseed spice on the finish. Soft, chewable tannins are supported by a fresh, redcurrant acid line to ensure a clean, long finish.
Oak Detail: 15 months maturation in a combination of new, 1 and 2 year-old French and American barriques.
Cellaring: Best drinking now but will improve over the next 4-5 years
Alcohol volume: 14.5%
Acidity: pH 3.5/TA, 6.5 g/L
Residual Sugar: .08 g/L
