Deep garnet red.
Complex aromas of bramble, blackcurrant and wet earth, leading into dark chocolate and cigar box spice.
Rich and full mid-palate of dark mulberry and blackberry fruits precedes a focused and concentrated back palate of savoury herbal notes, cigar box spice and rich dark chocolate.
Matured in a combination of new, 1 & 2 year old French oak barriques for a minimum of 18 months. Hand-picked, hand-plunged in open top fermenters. 18 French oak barriques.
Drinking well now, but will continue to evolve and develop over the next 6-8 years.
