Reserve Semillon Flight Pack

We are thrilled that our 2019 Reserve Semillon has been included as one of the top-rated wines in the James Halliday Wine Companion 2022, released this morning, and is featured as one of the "Standout Whites" of the year.

The 2019 Reserve Semillon has been featured as a standout from more than 9,000 wine tastings included in the Wine Companion and is a testament to the quality of this exceptional wine.

This limited edition “Reserve Semillon Flight Pack” includes:

93pts: "Barrel-fermented in 100% new French oak, followed by 9 months of ageing in partial new and seasoned oak, this is an ambitious Semillon with aspirations of white Graves in its sights. Lanolin, lemon blossom, talc, curd and honeysuckle notes are all evident. The oak is well handled, needing further time to settle. This should age very well over the next decade. Drink by 2029." Ned Goodwin, 2019 Halliday Wine Companion.

  • 2 x 2018 Reserve Semillon (Unreleased)

94pts: "Semillon 95%, chardonnay 5%. Fermented in 100% new French oak before, after 2 months, being transferred to 100% seasoned oak. Pungent thistle and tropical fruit aromatics lead to a well-powered, well-balanced palate of precision and poise. It's good drinking now, but its future is bright. Drink by 2028" Campbell Mattinson, 2021 Halliday Wine Companion.

  • 2 x 2019 Reserve Semillon (Unreleased)

95pts: "With 5% chardonnay. Matured for 11 months in French oak (80% new for 3 months, then 8 months in seasoned). At this stage, the sweet, marzipan/crushed coffee oak dominates the wine. However, the fruit has a concentrated jalapeño pungency that suggests it may be up to the task of consuming this mains-size dish of French oak. The brilliant length of flavour further backs up the suspicion that this may yet come up for air." Erin Larkin, 2022 Halliday Wine Companion.
