2024 FE Red

Colour Deep rich red with purple hues.

Nose Ripe fruit characters of plum, blackberry and black cherry with complexing notes of roasted meats, dried herbs and aniseed.

Palate Medium-full bodied whilst retaining a fine, supporting tannin structure and a crunchy acid line that lends freshness and finesse. Red and black fruits present early on, with redcurrant and black cherry leading the way with a rising white spice through the mid palate complementing the fresh acid zing. On the back palate, blackberry and plum come alive with both fruit and white pepper persisting long into the taste.

12 months maturation in seasoned French oak barriques with a dash of new oak for good measure.

2024 - A warm & dry vintage highlighted by a very early start, excellent marri blossom, and some challenging heat spikes. Reds are showing deep, rich colours and flavours.

Cellaring Whilst designed to be ready for immediate consumption, this wine will benefit from anywhere up to 2-4 years in the bottle.
